Masses of you brought your Hattitude and joined us for Text Santa 2013, pulling on your Santa hats in support and doing your part all over the UK. With performances from Robbie Williams, Leona Lewis and McFly, Cheryl Cole popping up in the Rovers Return and The Big Reunion cast bringing the ‘90s back with their charity single, the live show was a fundraising frenzy.

Age UK were able to fund local handyperson services to help older people with repairs and safety checks in their homes, enabling them to be warm and well during the winter months.
Barnardo’s provided 9,200 children with hot nutritious meals and 1,200 families with emergency clothes, provisions and grants to help them through a cold Christmas period.
2,500 young people were trained to become BeatBullying mentors, equipping them with the skills to support their peers with bullying issues.
British Heart Foundation recruited 9 specialist nurses to give much needed support to over 3,000 people with the genetic heart condition Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH).
CLIC Sargent provided 3,000 hours of support for children, young people and their families, helping them to cope with the life-changing impact of cancer treatment. They also helped 60 families, and launched a digital space for 18-24 year olds with cancer to connect with and support each other.
The money donated to Help the Hospices has meant they’ve been able to give 19,761 hours of care in 219 hospices. They have also been able to provide Child Bereavement courses, training volunteers to help children come to terms with the loss of a loved one.
